Dutchtown South Community Corporation (dutchtownsouth.org) is a community development corporation serving the neighborhoods of Dutchtown, Gravois Park, Marine Villa and Mount Pleasant in south St. Louis. Its focus is on affordable housing, community empowerment, and equitable development. Weaving happens here thanks to Community Empowerment Committee meetings (giving residents of the neighborhood a space to learn about what's happening locally and get involved), the Gravois Jefferson Leadership Academy (giving residents the tools to implement our neighborhood plan through community organizing), and special projects like the Southside Strutters (a walking group that meets in different locations in the neighborhood every third Saturday of the month).
