Deadline to apply for Weaver Awards

The Weaver Awards are open for neighbors, educators, coaches, counselors, librarians, mentors and people at small organizations focused on K-12 educational success.

20 individuals will be awarded $5,000 microgrants to celebrate the work they’re doing to build relationships and bring the community together through local programs, initiatives, partnerships or events that focus on education and students’ success.

If you or someone you know is empowering Wilkes County’s next generation of leaders, apply or recommend them today! The process is simple — and the paperwork is minimal.
