Conversation: "Twin Town" of Alexandria, VA with Richmond, VA will likely be easier than Philadelphia, PA going forward. Why ? Philadelphia is a pretty large city, much bigger than Alexandria, while Richmond, as Capital City of State of Virginia is about similar size & and has historical link of Civil War (1861-1865) , memory of which cannot be forgotten, specially the severe consequence, post-Civil War, that still lingers culturally speaking here at Northern Virginia geo.
Second, I have been tracking the newly elected Mayor of Alexandria, a young lady of Afro-American heritage, whose philosophy and ideas on "economics" and "Inclusion" challange 2025+ is easy to understand and appreciate for many residents here. Feedback most welcome !
