Aspen Seminar on Loss and Transcendence

Values-driven leadership, much like a sport or yoga, is a practice. To help you perfect your craft, we invite you to join Connected Learning Seminars. These free, weekly, virtual seminars are an opportunity to reflect on your life and the personal dimensions leadership in the company of others doing the same.

Each Connected Learning Seminar series comes in a set of three sessions. You do not need to attend all three sessions to sign up for the Seminar, but it is encouraged!

Starting on May 13 at 5:00PM EST, join others around the virtual seminar table to be in dialogue around the theme of Assurance. In a world of increasing uncertainty, what might we mean by assurance? What anchors our sense of hope as we endure the discomfort of learning new things? How do we wrestle with loss, and how do we get beyond it? What are the sources of order amidst expanding chaos? Dates and focus themes are as follows:

  • May 13, 5:00PM – 6:00PM EST | Learning and Hope
  • May 20, 5:00PM – 6:00PM EST | Loss and Transcendence
  • May 27, 5:00PM – 6:00PM EST | Chaos and Order

Indicate which sessions you are able to attend when you submit your registration form. If a session has already passed, we invite you to jump into the next one! Expect to be engaged and participate throughout the duration of the hour. Please be prepared with your camera and a microphone on!

Aspen seminars leverage a unique method of moderated, text-based, dialogue that transforms leaders’ ability to understand their own values and achieve meaningful leadership growth. Connected Learning Seminars are a chance to get a glimpse into the Seminar experience, including the signature Aspen Executive Seminars on Leadership, Values, and the Good Society.
