Experiential Workshop: Connection and Regulation with La Maida Project

Online, Zoom

This free introductory session is designed to explore the answer to β€œWhat is Health?” and explore how community, self-care, and regulation generate physical and mental health. This session builds capacity within participants for a more accurate and empowering view of health that accounts for connection to self, community, purpose, and the natural world as the essential building blocks of mental health and well-being. This session will include large group discussions, break-out rooms, polls, a regulation activity, and informational content shares around La Maida Project’s key concepts.

About La Maida Project
La Maida Project is reframing how people understand mental health and well-being. At this point in history we are living in a state of tremendous disconnection from our bodies, our emotions, our relationships, our communities, and from nature. Current attitudes and solutions around mental health treat emotional states as chronic lifelong illnesses, as opposed to human experiences of disconnection and trauma from which we can recover, heal, and grow. We are bringing awareness, education, and programming to the public about solutions that support healing and promote health in community.

Just wanted to point out that the linked registration page reads 10 am - 11 *PM*, not am. You may want to update that!
