If your group is doing local social justice work, The Peace Development Fund offers Seeding the Movement grants to cover general operating costs.
If you happen to also be in western Massachusetts and have a leader of color, you can tap support from the Western Mass Transformation Fund. And if your group is youth-led and youth-oriented, you can apply to The Braiding New Worlds Fund. Past grantees include a Detroit-based effort to bring youth together to advocate for policy changes on issues from education to climate change.

KidsGardening will award 50 youth garden programs with $500 in funding and a collection of gardening supplies. To apply, organizations must have 15 or more youth participating in its garden program and work in an under-resourced community.
Main Street America and Smart Growth America have partnered with TβMobile to help build stronger, more prosperous small towns and rural communities. With TβMobileβs Hometown Grant program, theyβre investing big in small towns by awarding up to 100 towns a year with project fundingβββup to $50,000 each. Since the programβs start, TβMobile has given more than $10 million dollars to kickstart 225 community development projects across 42 states, with projects like upgrading tech at local libraries, building new hiking trails and revitalizing historic buildings. TβMobile is focusing on revitalizing community spaces in towns with 50,000 people or less, and Main Street programs are encouraged to apply. Submit a proposal for a town project of your choice, and if selected, use the funds to get started. For example, you could implement tech upgrades at your library, refresh a local park, or break ground on a new place where neighbors can connect.

Main Street America and T-Mobile are providing 100 small towns of under 50,000 inhabitants with $50,000 each for projects that are focused on revitalizing community spaces. Among the winning proposals have been fixing up community centers, refreshing local parks, or breaking ground on new places where neighbors can connect.
Hinge, the dating app, is partnering with DoSomething Strategic and the Foundation for Social Connection to invest $1 million into social groups and clubs that are creating opportunities for young adults to connect in-person. This is an opportunity for weavers in Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York working with Gen Z (18-26 year olds) to get funding to support their weaving.

The Bob Barker Foundation is supporting nonprofits working with at least 100 incarcerated or formerly incarcerated individuals to reduce recidivism. Projects include job training, violence interruption, and providing community connection and support. There is no deadline for the application.
The Bank of America Foundation is seeking applications from nonprofits to support health and jobs initiatives for individuals and families. The request for proposals offers these examples of projects that could involve weaving: access to healthcare, food access and nutrition, family stabilization, services for the homeless, youth workforce development and employment, skills training for adults through alternate routes, and removing barriers to employment.

The Food & Society program opened applications for their 18-month Aspen Food Leaders Fellowship which unites promising food system leaders to ignite personal transformation, cross-sector collaboration, and scalable change toward a fair, sustainable, and healthy food system. Itβs a great opportunity for weavers working in the space of sustainable food systems.

The Clif Family Foundation β from the family that created Clif Bars β is providing small grants to nonprofits doing work to strengthen the food system, enhance community health, and safeguard the environment. If you have a sustainable and community-focused project, like Ulysses Archie Jr. or Charles DeBarber, it might be a great fit for this grant.
